They are renewed following each inspection and are visible to the customer, the principal contractor and any other party working on or around the scaffold.
We provide scaffold handover certificates on completion of erection and carry out regular inspections in accordance with the Working at Height Regulations 2005. Where a scaffold requires modification during the hire period — for example, to accommodate a change in the scope of work — we carry out the modification and re-inspect before returning the scaffold to use.
Managing Local Authority Scaffolding Licence Applications
Where scaffolding needs to extend over a public pavement or highway — which is common on terraced and semi-detached properties in South East London — a licence from the relevant local authority is required before the scaffold can be erected.
